Peter Snowdon is a legal and corporate governance expert, with a particular interest in issues affecting financial services firms, banks and investment firms.
A former partner at Norton Rose LLP, Peter has also worked for the Financial Services Authority (FSA), focusing on corporate governance and the responsibilities of directors both in the context of financial services but more generally under Companies Act obligations.
He has advised a wide range of banks and investment firms on their corporate governance obligations, including HSBC (over its establishment of their ring-fenced bank), Northern Trust and Bank of China.
Peter also acts as a consultant editor of the Practitioner’s Guide to Individual Conduct and Accountability in Financial Services Firms, published by Thomson Reuters.
He also enjoys studying for his degree in French & History, painting, cycling and entertaining his three grandchildren.
