Eleanor Evans is a corporate governance expert with twenty years experience of working at the top level of global corporate business as a former FTSE100 general counsel and company secretary.

She has served as group company secretary for Rio Tinto, general counsel and company secretary at AMEC plc and chief legal officer and company secretary for Cobham plc.

Eleanor has extensive experience of overseeing legal, ethics, regulatory compliance, international trade, health and safety, environment, security and risk functions.

She is particularly passionate about the impact of environment, social and governance (ESG) issues on large companies and how they manage their associated risks. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and was formerly a member of the executive committee of the GC100 (the association of general counsel and company secretaries working in FTSE 100 companies).
